Los Gigantes is a resort town in Santiago del Teide, in the western part of Tenerife, on the Canary Island. Its main feature is the huge cliffs, the Acantilados de Los Gigantes, which rise 500-800 meters above sea level, hence its name; Los Gigantes means “The Giants”.
Nearby are the resorts of Puerto de Santiago and Playa de la Arena to the south. Three kilometers away is a village, Masca, which can be reached by boat or car.
The beach is located between the rocks and the harbor. There is a boulevard at the port where there are many restaurants, we can try the special gastronomy of the place.
The cliffs of Los Gigantes, in Spanish Acantilados de Los Gigantes, are one of the most important tourist attractions on the island. The village has many small shops and restaurants for visitors.
